How it works

Exploding Kittens is a highly strategic, kitty-powered version of Russian roulette. Players draw cards until somebody draws an

Exploding Kitten.

At which point they

explode

And they are

out of the game.

Unless

they defuse the kitten with a laser pointer or catnip sandwich.

Or

they use powerful Action cards to move or avoid the Exploding Kitten.

Betray your friends.

Relocate an Exploding Kitten to the top of the draw pile and blow somebody up.

Try not to explode.

The last player left alive wins.

The Details

Exploding Kittens is a highly strategic, kitty-powered version of Russian roulette. Basically, if you draw an Exploding Kitten, you lose and you are full of loser sad-sauce. All the other cards in the deck help you avoid or mitigate your risk of drawing an Exploding Kitten. In this edition, you can also use the squishy Cat Burglar figure to steal cat cards from players. If you don’t explode, YOU WIN! Congratulations, you are full of greatness!
