When I asked my kids how they felt about Monster Match, my 9 year old son JP responded, “I love this game, it is awesome! This game is the best game for kids of all ages. It is 'monstrously' fun ;)" and my 7 year old son and 5 year old daughter both responded with "love it”.
This is the only matching game to engage my kids. The 3 of them did not want to stop playing and tried to stretch the game out by trading monsters afterwards. As a family practice MD, I love the way the game engages rapid visuospatial processing along with hand eye coordination without amping up competitiveness. Since everyone can only take one card, by the end of the game my older kids were helping my younger one find a match to make sure that she wasn’t left out of the round. I loved seeing my kids help each other within a competitive game. The tower makes rolling the dice fun and overall the game is super easy to take out and put away. This morning, my kids had pulled it out and were playing it on their own! 5 stars.

👾 Quick to learn..I don't do well with complicated rules so this was a win all around!
👵🏻 Fun for all ages...I was expecting it to be geared more towards younger players, and it definitely is perfect for them, as there is no reading required, but for the same reason, it was perfect for this 50yr old 😂
🎨 Awesome artwork! As with all of EK's products, their artwork really makes the game that much more fun! The Bob Ross monster was my favorite!
Cons (if you can call it that):
🃏 I want more cards! While we have only played with 2-3 players so far, I could see this turning into a total monster mayhem (in a good way!) if there were more people, and more cards! ...future expansion packs perhaps?? 😉

Monster Match is great fun for all ages! The monster cards are colorful and imaginative. Much fun is had "rolling" the dice through the monster's mouth - dice are kept from rolling away since the tongue in inside a box.
This game really tests your skills of observance, counting and being patient (if you have to wait for the right card). I am to buy more of these for my classroom.

We played monster match with my 4year old nephew and it was an absolute hit! We played for about 2 hours and had such a fun time. My nephew now knows how to play the game word for word, it challenges his mind to connect the monster cards with the dice he rolled and he loves counting his points at the end! We love it and have no negative things to say. Definitely recommend for the younger kiddos!

My girls play this game with the kids they babysit - and they have a lot of fun. Not only does it help pass the time, they are also learning counting and developing observational skills. They also like how the rules don't let the kids get too unruly or fight over who wins the card. It's quick and easy to set up and put away.
